Import & Export Officer
- Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree Holder.
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in export & import and border trade channels.
- Solid understanding of customs regulations, import / export procedures , and
- documentation requirements
- Familiarity with Tradenet and related systems
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with the customer
- Strong problem – solving skill to efficiently resolve customs – related issues
- Strong ethics and integrity in related processes
- Job Descriptions
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as transportation, warehousing,
- inventory management, and distribution.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure smooth delivery processes.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with local government regulations.
- Prepare and manage shipping and delivery documentation, including invoices, bills of
- lading, and customs paperwork.
- Identify and resolve any logistics issues, such as delays, shortages, or damaged goods.
- Coordinate the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and sales, to align logistics
- activities with company goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding schedules and
- Identify and address potential risks in the supply chain, such as delays, damage, or
- Commitment to maintaining transparency, fairness, and compliance in all operations.
